# Welcome to the Asphodel Prologue Playtest!
[Asphodel Prologue](https://beta.asphodel.io) is an onchain autobattler, where Taruchi battle in the arena in order to Ascend. It is an introduction the world of Asphodel.
This, however, is the Asphodel Prologue Playtest. An introduction to an introduction, the beginning of the beginning. Those of you lucky enough to participate will be helping Aristeia clear the way to the arena, where Asphodel Prologue will take place.
The playtest will run for 1 week, starting at 4PM UTC 15th May 2026. There are numerous competitions you may enter, with $3333 USDC in prizes to be won.
