# Rerolls

What are rerolls, how to reroll

Players are able to swap a Kami in their party for a random Kami in the Vending Machine Gacha Pool. This is referred to as "Rerolling" a Kami and costs one <img src="https://3718080700-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F5hdwSNG802PdUg6Mv8lN%2Fuploads%2Ffozv15OrIsI7JbqI0o80%2Freroll_ticket.png?alt=media&amp;token=9742efef-eb2b-4fbf-bd68-abc063592a9c" alt="" data-size="line"> **Reroll Ticket**.

Players may choose to reroll a Kami for a variety of reasons, such as:

* Seeking a Kami with overall stronger [Base Stats](/kamigotchi/gameplay/kamigotchi/stats.md).
* Seeking a Kami of a particular [Type ](/kamigotchi/gameplay/kamigotchi/types.md)or with particular [Traits](/kamigotchi/gameplay/kamigotchi/traits.md).
* Punishing one of your current Kami for bad behavior.
