How to complete Quests and develop Faction trust. Kamigotchi contains a

**Quests** system which incentivizes you to visit certain rooms, take certain actions, and provide certain Items to fulfill quest requirements. Completing **Quests** can earn you

**Reputation**,

**Loyalty** or

**Dedication** — these are in-game meters that measure how much these respective Factions trust you. You can access the

**Quests menu** by clicking the

**Quests** **icon** in the top-right. Here’s what the **Quests menu** looks like in-game:

The menu allows you to tab between Available

**Quests** (new **Quests** that you have not yet accepted), Accepted **Quests**, and Completed **Quests**.

**Quests** can be accepted as soon as they are available, and **Quest** progress is only tracked if the **Quest** has been accepted. The

**Quest** card shows information about the **Quest's** Objectives and Rewards, and Details links to the **Quest Dialog**. The quest shown above requires you to [**Scavenge**](/kamigotchi/gameplay/harvesting/scavenging.md) one

**Essence of Taste** for which you will be rewarded four

**Loyalty** and one

**Booster Pack**. Any

**Reputation**,

**Loyalty** or

**Dedication** gained from a **Quest** will be added to the respective progress bar. You can check your Faction progress in the

**Account menu**. Importantly, while your game actions will unlock new quests over time, all quests are Local Events that are available to all players. This means the availability of a quest is contingent only on the actions of the individual player and is independent of the actions of other players. This is not the case, however, with [Co-Ops](/kamigotchi/gameplay/quests-and-factions/co-ops.md).
